Montana Whitewater offers Fly Fishing Instruction for Beginners.
Our 2-3 hour session includes education on insect life, basic fly identification, life cycle of the trout and other fascinating aspects of fly fishing.
You will get a chance to learn the basics of Fly Casting and get started with Fly Fishing!

This is an excellent introduction, especially if you are considering pursuing more fly fishing while in the Yellowstone Area. Fishing Classes take place at our private fishing access on the Gallatin River, approximately 10 miles south of Montana Whitewater Headquarters.
The classic American film, A River Runs Through It was filmed partially on the Gallatin River. Many of our Raft trips pass this famous spot where the cover shot was taken.
